B2B marketers say creating effective content and gathering quality data are the two biggest challenges they face in executing their lead generation strategies, according to recent research from Wpromote and Ascend2.
The report is based on data from a survey conducted among 258 B2B marketers in the United States in May 2021.
Around 45% of B2B marketers surveyed say creating engaging / targeted content with lead generation is difficult, and 43% say gathering quality data is difficult to do.
About 60% of B2B marketers say their lead generation challenges wasted them time / resources, and 59% result in missed sales opportunities.
B2B marketers say the biggest frustrations salespeople experience with lead generation campaigns is poor data and poor lead quality.
